GreenWire built (2) of these systems at the same time. Each of these installations were done on top of Industrial Condominiums that have office and manufacturing space. They were both 10KW in size and were done in Roseville, CA. They were on-grid designed to tie into the main 208 volt, 3 phase service. We utilized the REC brand photovoltaic panel and the Enphase micro-inverters. The system was completely balanced by installing the 3 phase Enphase cabling system with 16 panels and 16 inverters per leg. The total system comprised of 48 panels and inverters. One of the benefits of the Enphase micro-inverter is there was no hardware that needed to mounted in the condo, thus saving space. Everything is on the roof. Even future maintenence is a snap because everything is easily accessible.
GreenWire was very excited to use the Sunlink "Core" Ballasting System. This product is so easy to assemble, very strong and made in the USA. The Sunlink staff completes all the engineering for wind and weight and is supportive throughout the whole project. Typical systems like these come in right around 5 pounds per square foot. The Sunlink solution can be engineered for wind speeds between 90-140 mph making permitting a "breeze". We at GreenWire really like the fact that we DO NOT have to drill holes in the owners roof. This makes 100% of the installation electrical and does not require a roofer.
